Three Additional Bungalows Renovated and Dedicated to God in Kchag

On May 9, 2015 the Kchag camp site was flocked with special guests, who had arrived from USA to Beirut in order to inaugurate the newly renovated bungalows.
The dedication worship service took place in the chapel of Kchag, after which the families led the unveiling of the plaques of the bungalows, one of which is interestingly named Mishd Chanitzagans (always Christian Endeavorers).

Announcement: Opening Ceremony at KCHAG - Lebanon

On May 9, 2015, we will witness the opening of the 4 dorms and bugallows of our dear KCHAG, the Christian Endeavor campsite of Lebanon.
Friends from USA and from Armenia will be present with us to share our joy as KCHAG becomes even more healthy and lively and ready to host even more young men and women.
This is the campsite where many have encountered Jesus, have given their lives to follow Him, and have renewed their lives here.


Fellowship with the AMAA interns at Kchag

On Sunday, 31 July - a small group of youth from various chanitz groups joined the AMAA interns at Kchag, for fellowship, sharing and worshipping together.
Rev. Nishan and AMAA interns shared about their ministry in Armenia and the situation in Armenia. Badveli Datev Basmajian led in worship time and fellowship.











AGBU Boghos. K. Garmirian School's Activity in Kchag

The AGBU Boghos. K. Garmirian School held their activity in Kchag (the Armenian Evangelical Christian Endeavor Summer Camp site).

During the event, Ms. Rima Cholakian gave a visit and explained about the history of Kchag. She shared about how Kchag was built in 1949, by Mr. Ogostin Bedir, Dr. Puzant Krikorian, Mr. Puzant Kalfayan, and Mr. Puzant Guleserian. Kchag also has a church, houses, a restaurant and other facilities. Despite the fact that Kchag was destroyed during the war, it is now being rebuilt and reconstructed.



The Opening of the Kassarjian Rooms

On Sunday, July 10, the opening of the Kassarjian rooms took place in Kchag (Christian Endeavour Summer Center), organized by the the Executive Body of the Armenian Evangelical Christiean Endeavor Association.
After the opening speech of Rev. Raffi Messerlian, Mr. Anto Messerlian presented a hymnal. Mr. Garbis Deyirmenjian talked about Kchag and the vision and mission of Kchag. Afterwards, Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian thanked and announced all the sponsors of Kchag.
Rev. Megerdich Karagoezian invited Mr. George Kassarjian for the official opening of the rooms by uncovering the curtains of the plaque of the Kassarjian rooms. After the opening, Rev. Karagoezian, Mr. Kassarjian and his wife cut the cake of the event. Rev. Sebouh Terzian requested all the members of the Friends of Kchag to come forth for a memorial photo and renewal of their friendship with Kchag.

Kchag Café Is Back!

KCHAG CAFE is BACK!

The Armenian Evangelical Summer Camp Center - Քրիստոնէական Ջանից Ամառնային Կեդրոն - will hold its Sunday Nights, starting at 5:00pm.
Everyone is Welcome to enjoy the cooler weather, and have fellowship and enjoy the food with all of us together.

The new team that will prepare the food is Mr. and Mrs. Raffi and Anita Andonian.

The Exchange Program Between the French and Lebanese Youth

During the month of August 2010, a group of French young men and women came to Lebanon as part of the Exchange Program between French and Lebanese youth.
This program was organized by the EUL (Equipes Unionistes Luthériennes) in partnership with the ACO (Action Chrétienne en Orient). A team of four coaches were responsible for the organization: Annelise Deiss (Director), Marion Heyl, Anne-Catherine Weiss, Gauthier Feuga (facilitators).


The group worked at Kchag, cleaning the area next to the playground. They also visited the various Armenian Evangelical churches and their corresponding youth groups; they also had lots of touristic acitvities like going to Chouf, Beiteddine, Cedar Reserve in Chouf. They visited Tripoli, Byblos, Jeita, Farayya, Harisa... as well as universities in Beirut, like Haigazian Univerisity, NEST Theological School and the American University of Beirut.
